Our Process
How It Works
1. Inspection & diagnosis
The boiler casing is removed, the burner, heat exchanger and flue inspected, combustion and gas-tightness checks performed and worn components identified.
2. Clean, adjust & test
The burner and condensate trap are cleaned, seals and controls checked, gas pressures adjusted where required and a full system pressure and safety check carried out.
3. Report & remedial plan
A written service report and any safety certificate required is provided. If parts or repairs are needed a clear quote is given before any work is carried out.

What a boiler service covers — a thorough, hands-on service designed for gas boilers found in Norfolk homes, from compact back-boilers to modern condensing combi units. The casing is removed, the burner and heat exchanger inspected, flues and ventilation checked, a combustion and gas-tightness test performed and the condensate trap and pilot assembly cleaned where applicable. Controls, thermostats, pressure settings and safety devices are also checked. Typical service time ranges from 30 minutes to two hours depending on boiler type and access.

If you manage a rental property we can provide the annual Landlord Gas Safety Record (CP12) after the service. All gas work is completed by a Gas Safe registered engineer — Martyn — and our work is backed by £5 million public liability insurance.
